Every country has a minimum wage threshold that employers must adhere to, and Malaysia is no exception. The minimum wage in Malaysia was raised to RM1,500 per month starting from May 1, 2022, according to the Minimum Wage Order 2022. The implementation of the minimum wage is crucial to ensure that no group of workers is oppressed by excessively low and unreasonable wages. Therefore, this survey was conducted to assess the employability of graduates from Kuantan Community College regarding the minimum wage income. To measure the level of this minimum wage survey, secondary data was used, obtained from the analysis of graduate employability data developed by the Ministry of Higher Education through the e-anjung system, namely Graduate Tracer Study System (SKPG-TVET). The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative methods through IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software based on the employability data of Kuantan Community College graduates for three years from 2020 to 2022, involving 500 respondents. Data analysis found a significant increase in the percentage of graduates receiving salaries above the RM1500 minimum wage from year to year. In 2022, 33.3% of graduates received a minimum wage of RM1500-2000 compared to only 7% in 2020. The results of this study indicate that there is an increasing percentage of Kuantan Community College graduates obtaining a minimum wage in line with the government's efforts to help balance the cost of living and income of the B40 group, especially in urban areas.
