USING GOOGLE FORMS FOR VALUATION EMPOWERMENT TEST DBC20012 COMPUTER APPLICATION AT POLYTECHNIC KOTA KINABALU

Advances in information and communication technology (ICT) have brought about changes in various aspects. Education, as one of the most important elements of human life, is also not left behind. Entering the new era, education also needs to change to adapt to the changing times, technological advances, and thinking of the new generation. For this reason, the country's education system is implementing 21st Century Learning (PAK21) to ensure that students are not left behind in a rapidly evolving world. After the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, the norm in education changed to online learning. Various platforms are used for the purpose of online learning, and one of them is Google Forms. This study paper is conducted to conduct research on the use of Google Forms in the assessment of Empowerment Test DBC20012 Computer Application at Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, recognizing three aspects: (1) ease of student achievement of the Google Forms platform; (2) interface design of the Google Forms platform; and (3) user-friendly level of the Google Forms platform from the perspective of students who make the Empowerment Test assessment for the Computer Application course. There was a total of 131 respondents for this study, consisting of 2nd, 3rd, and 5th semester students for the DBC20012 Computer Application course. The study analysis method used was using the questionnaire as the study instrument. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used to analyze the data to get descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, and min). The results of the study found that respondents agreed that the Google Forms platform is easy to reach. In addition, the Google Forms platform design is attractive and easy, and the Google Forms platform has a pleasant user-friendly level. In conclusion, Google Forms is the main choice for a good online learning process.
