In the current era of globalization, language learning centered around e
learning applications has
become a popular choice among students. This learning method refers to the use of technology and
electronic platforms in the process of teaching and learning languages. Arabic language learning
is no exception to the influence of this technological advancement. The impact of 21st century
learning and the fourth industrial revolution has transformed the landscape of education, bringing
significant changes to al l aspects of life, including education. Arabic language learning has also
undergone a transformation from classroom based learning, allowing students to learn
independently through mobile phones. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the themes
highlighted in the literature on Arabic language learning modules that utilize smartphones. The
research employs a qualitative and literature based approach to examine the situation and potential
of smartphone applications as the future of Arabic language learning. T he application offers
advantages to students in various aspects, such as virtual learning methods, unrestricted access to
time and place, rich and engaging multimedia elements, and a student centered learning approach.
The study also proposes further resea rch suggestions on the development and potential of Arabic
language learning using smartphone applications.
