About the Journal

Founded in 1999, Jurnal Al-Sirat (ISSN: 1823-4313 for print / e-ISSN: 2785-9169 for online) is an international, peer-reviewed platinum open-access journal published by Universiti Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah (UnIPSAS), located in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. As a platinum open-access publication, all journal content is freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription fees, embargo periods, or access charges. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, print, distribute, search, or link to the full text of articles, and to use the material for any lawful, non-commercial purpose, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors. No prior permission from the authors or the publisher is required.

The international perspective is also reflected by the journal’s trilingual approach; it is published in Malay, English and Arabic languages. The published articles, as well as comments, research reports, book reviews, conference papers and others, are on Islamic studies as well as other fields written from social sciences perspectives. In order to encourage academic brainstorming, we are soliciting your contributions throughout the year.

Jurnal Al-Sirat operates on a non-profit basis and is fully supported by UnIPSAS Publisher. As part of the university's dedication to open scholarly communication, no article submission or processing fees are charged to authors. All published content is archived on the Digital Commons platform and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercially 4.0 International License, ensuring copyright protection while encouraging responsible academic use.

Official Language
The journal article accept English, Malay and Arab language content.
