ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENCES IN THE ACHIEVEMENT IN ADOPTION OF THE NOBLE VALUES AMONG KUIPSAS EMPLOYEES FROM 2018 TO 2020

Abstract

In an effort to ensure that the management system of an organization runs smoothly, effectively and with quality, the application of Quality Management System becomes the best option and provides the greatest impact to the organizational system. For an organization based on Islam such as the Islamic College University Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah (KUIPSAS), it has added one more alternative standards system known as MS1900:2005 – Quality Management System in accordance to the Islamic Perspective. This is in line with the efforts by KUIPSAS to fulfill the demands and needs of Syariah in the organization. In such standards, the values aspect needs to become a habitual practice so that quality management can be implemented in a balanced manner. The objective of this study is to identify various levels of practice of the noble values Ta’allum, Tazaakur and Ta’awun (3T) within the KUIPSAS community. The study also seeks to investigate the differing opinions among respondents from 2018 to 2020. This quantitative study was carried out using a questionnaire form distributed in 2018, 2019 and 2020 to all employees of KUIPSAS. Results of this study showed that the adoption of the noble values among KUIPSAS employees increased in all three values Ta’allum, Tazaakur and Ta’awun (3T). All three noble values were regarded to have helped staff members of KUIPSAS in the quest for knowledge and in the practice of noble personal values in the organization.
