Abstract

Abstract

There is no doubt that no era has been free of epidemics and diseases, forcing people to confront these epidemics using the methods available to them. These methods varied according to their culture and approaches. The Islamic approach to confronting these epidemics was distinguished by its divine approach, based on the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW. One of the most important tools of this approach was sound faith, embodied in the strength of faith in Allah SWT , His angels, His books, and His messengers, as well as faith in the Last Day, and acceptance of God's decree and destiny. Hence, this study aims to clarify the importance of faith in the Last Day in confronting epidemics. The methodology used in this study was inductive and analytical, tracing sources that clarify the reality of and belief in the Last Day and demonstrating the impact of faith in it in confronting epidemics. Among the expected outcomes of this study are the necessity of confronting epidemics and diseases by taking precautions, accepting God's decree and destiny, and believing in the Last Day.
