Abstract

The hadith is a major source for issuing laws after the Qur'an and is the Prophet SAW's legacy. The development of Islamic religion has been so rapid that it has produced many great scholars, particularly in the Malay archipelago, who derive their knowledge from the Quran and Hadith. The aim of this study was to identify and evaluate the hadith stating the other names for al-Mulk Verse, as well as its status and content taught in the Tafsir Maudu‘i course at the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). This study will also provide general exposure to some verses from Surah al-Mulk, as well as its benefits. This study employs a method of library research. The research findings can provide students and the general public with a more in-depth understanding of the science of hadith and its position.
